The Polyphony Pyramid

The Polyphony Foundation achieves its goals through funding a multi-tiered programming structure that operates at the local level. This grassroots structure begins with broad outreach to elementary school children, enhancing the musical and personal development of the students, and continues all the way up to our professional orchestra.

Each program is designed to build on knowledge acquired in previous programs in the series. As the students advance, the programs call for increasingly mixed groups of Arab and Jewish students and musicians to learn, experience, and perform together. For this reason, Polyphony’s multi-layered programming structure is best illustrated in the pyramid diagram below, where each level contributes to the success of the next, and the top level trickles back down to enable the bottom.
